Empowering California Together

Michael Murray is a lifelong resident of California’s 46th Assembly District and the Libertarian candidate for State Assembly. Born in Woodland Hills, Michael continues to live in the same home where he grew up, giving him a deep, firsthand understanding of how government policy impacts families and neighborhoods in the San Fernando Valley.
He attended St. Mel Elementary School in Woodland Hills and Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, then earned his undergraduate education at California State University, Northridge. He later completed his postgraduate chiropractic education at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles. While attending CSUN, Michael experienced the 1994 Northridge earthquake firsthand, reinforcing his belief in community resilience, personal responsibility, and the importance of limited, but effective government, especially during emergencies.
For more than 20 years, Michael has served his community as a chiropractor, helping individuals take control of their own health and well-being. Throughout his professional life, he has repeatedly been entrusted with management roles, building experience in leadership, fiscal responsibility, and real-world problem solving.
